Evgeniya Bolyukh is a Moscow-based artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans objects, installations, and performative works. She graduated the Free Workshops program at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) in Contemporary Art and the British Higher School of Art and Design in Fundamentals of Fine Art, she has been a resident at Winzavod’s Artist Studios and participated in the 11th season of Winzavod Open Studios.
Bolyukh studied analog photography at the Complutense University of Madrid, taught herself Unity, and developed programming skills through the Creative Coding (generative art) program at New York University Tandon School of Engineering.
Her work investigates themes of fragility, trauma, and the lived experience of everyday life, with a particular focus on the vulnerability of inner beliefs in the face of a rapidly changing world. Drawing on both personal and collective memory, she reflects on intimate moments as well as large-scale global events.
Bolyukh’s works are held in the Winzavod Foundation collection, as well as in private collections in Russia, the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
